You can collect your papers on Thursday, 11th December at 12:00 noon. Prof. Aicega will be at the Staff Room to hand them out.
If you need to retake it, remember you can choose either Thursday, December 18th at 8 am or the 1st exam date in March.

MIDTERM TEST PART 2: Content Application

The Content Application Test will be set next Thursday 16th at 12:00 noon at the time of Prof. Dolores Aicega's tutorial. 

Notice that there will be a single timetable for that test -from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. To that effect we have been assigned a larger room that can take all the students in one go:

Finally, let me bring to your attention that  we are leaving out two articles from the 2014 Reading List made available at the start of the course. This exception will hold on this 1st run of the test only, to make amends for unequal coverage of those topics in all groups and to allow for more time to deal with such contents in the coming weeks before the makeup test.The readings in question are:     

• Fairclough, Language and Power “Discourse, common sense and ideology” (Chapter 4)  
• Bolivar, “The Structure of newspaper editorials”
